When Wilton Patisserie needed concepts for their second location, Retail Experience Design jumped at the chance to display their creative flair for the established Patisserie brand.
Specializing in handcrafted desserts and bespoke cakes, Wilton Patisserie are masters of their craft. The artistry, craftsmanship and intracity across their product range is nothing short of inspiring.
With an ambitious expansion plan, including broadening their customer offer, the patisserie had the vision to create a unique environment – a patisserie come coffee shop where customers could relax and enjoy hot and cold food and fresh coffee, whilst experiencing some of the finest signature desserts across London.
The project began with identifying and defining the brand proposition, understanding the customer demographics and creating customer profiles.
Once the insights were in place, the creative exploration could begin. The conceptual designs were heavily inspired by the charm and allure of the products. The aspiration – to create an environment that felt connected to the product but could also wow customers as much as the product.
To compete with other London centric and iconic coffee houses and patisseries, it was crucial, their space created a unique and authentic customer experience.
What we delivered
The project strategy demanded research and insights to inform the design brief. This allowed for the strategic creation of conceptual sketches and ideas, followed by final 3D visuals and GA space plans and elevations.
The result – the creation of a charming, imaginative, stimulating and impressive store concept that reflected the patisserie brand and business vision, unique ethos and target market.
