Design brief

As a full-service design agency, Retail Experience Design deliver physical environment projects from start to finish, however from time to time, it’s our technical expertise which is called upon.

Our work with McKesson (formally Lloyds Pharmacy) and the development and implementation of a new store concept for the UK’s most prestigious pharmacy brand, John Bell & Croyden is a great example of this.

Our approach

As part of a £4million refurbishment, Retail Experience Design lead on the technical interior build aspect of the project, creating a master set of drawings for this 1300 sq metre of prime retail space in the heart of Westminster. This included: floor set out; electrical layouts; HVAC; lighting layouts; fixtures and fittings layout and general overall arrangement of drawings.

What we delivered

Working as part of a large multi-agency team appointed to deliver on the project, Retail Experience Design had a crucial, yet purely technical role to fulfil. The 12-month project involved Retail Experience Design producing all planning and building control drawings, whilst maintaining up to date design details, which ensured the accurate and successful delivery of the store.
