The Challenge
Twin Globes were full to bursting in their traditional office space.
The specialist care and nursing provider had achieved continued growth that led to more people and a mishmash of office equipment and appliances.
Twin Globes asked us to help them reimagine their office to create a streamlined working environment, and a space where their employees wanted to be.
First, we needed to determine if their new unit, a former restaurant, had the potential to become a workspace that would meet the requirements of Twin Globes new workspace. So, we completed feasibility survey and layout review, including space plans to understand the possibility of the space.
What we did
The two floor unit presented some distinct challenges. First off, the footprint of the ground floor was too small for the number of workstations and meeting rooms required. Secondly the basement ceiling was too low and featured an old lean-to extension making it an unusable space.
Despite this, through bespoke design and applying our technical expertise, we established structural modifications and a clever design to make the space work.
The industrial design scheme was inspired by the exposed ceiling and raw elements running through the unit, whereas the blend of modern materials added warmth and richness to create an aesthetically sophisticated interior design.

We created a balanced space, meeting the individual working styles of employees, as well as the different demands of the business. At the same time we created a sense of collaboration and togetherness with the open plan elements integrated into the sophisticated interior design.
